Other sectors like aviation, nuclear power, healthcare, and industrial safety leverage human factors issues as a means to decrease human errors. The lack of attention and exploration given to human factors in cybersecurity poses a threat to every business. As cybersecurity operations become more complex and technologically advanced, the potential for human errors increases. A well-structured human factors program can provide the groundwork to tackle and mitigate these human-centric issues, offer appropriate workforce training, and incorporate psychology-based professionals as key stakeholders to address human factors-based problems.
