The report highlights the innovation and disruption within the SA&T market, driven by customer expectation

The report is designed to give security leaders insights into solutions that help them measure, manage, and reduce human-cyber risk.
The report, which includes 33 vendors, reviews the market beyond the “traditional solutions” with the sole purpose of training people about security to meet “perfunctory compliance regulations”. Jinan Budge, the report’s principal analyst along with her colleagues, states that innovation and disruption has evolved the market in a short space of time.
In a blog published alongside the report, Jinan Budge states:
“The key disruption is that SA&T is no longer solely operating to train people for the sake of training them – behaviour and culture change have moved beyond being performative to fostering real action.”
To support the outcome of real action, the report identifies further disruption to the market with the ability to “measure the human risk, based on human’s actual behaviours or sentiments about security”. It goes on to state that some vendors are now able to “demonstrate how changes in behaviour reduce actual cybersecurity incidents.”
To reflect the dynamic changes in the market, the analysts have broken the market into four segments, with CybSafe being categorised within three of those segments:
- Human risk quantification vendors provide a data-driven approach to behaviour change.
- Security culture mapping vendors measure sentiment and emotions.
- Content- and experience-driven awareness vendors lead with content.
- Comprehensive security awareness and training vendors provide a one-stop-shop.
