SB203 Uses biometrics to access online account
People can access devices and accounts with biometric information (e.g. a fingerprint or facial scan). The unique biometric information is linked to a password/passphrase. This helps reduce security friction during the login process.
Why is it important?
Only you have access to your biometrics. No-one can fake them. This means, no-one else can access an account that's unlocked using your specific biometrics (without you there). Biometric locks significantly increase account security.
