SB209 Uses a stand-alone password manager application
A password manager is an application that securely stores passwords. Some password managers also create and enter passwords automatically.
Why is it important?
Remembering different passwords for accounts can be difficult. Because of this, poor password behaviour may be adopted.
Password managers offer a secure place for passwords and login details to be stored. Stronger passwords can therefore be created as they won't have to be remembered. Password managers also help with building passwords and assessing their strength.
Priority Tier
Behaviours in SebDB are ranked by their impact on risk. Tier 1 behaviours have the biggest impact, Tier 4 behaviours the least.
