SB183 Does not send emails to unintended recipient(s)

Sending emails to the incorrect recipient increases the chance of sensitive company or personal information being viewed or used by unauthorised people.

Why is it important?

Sensitive information should only be shared with those who need to know, and this includes email content. Emails that end up in the wrong hands may be shared further or used for malicious purposes. This puts the organisation – and individuals – at risk of financial and reputational harm.
