Deleted online accounts and "zombie" apps that no longer used. These accounts are a security risk as they often have weaker passwords that may have been forgotten, and the data policies on the websites may have not been updated.


Why is it important?

Old, unused online accounts are vulnerable and often susceptible to compromise from threat actors, used in scamming and social engineering.

Additionally, details used in old personal accounts can help criminals gain access to other/ current online accounts.
